House Clearances

A house clearance is often associated with a major life event, such as a bereavement. In a busy and highly emotional situation, it's all too easy to accept the first offer you receive or, worse, end up paying someone to take it away!

Gilbert Baitsons have vast experience in assessing house contents, and our valuers are always happy to make visits, prepare inventories, and arrange for efficient, careful collections. We will place items in either our General or Antique Furniture & Collectables auctions to bring them to the widest possible audience and if there's a forgotten first folio or misplaced masterpiece in the attic, we will make sure its true value is realised.

We also offer a complete house clearance service which, apart from assessing the house contents as above, also includes taking all the remaining items  which have no value to the local council tip, leaving the house completely empty and ready to be placed on the market.

For further details of our house clearance services, or to arrange a visit, please call our office 01482 500500 of email info@gilbert-baitson.co.uk

Office and Factory Clearances

A factory clearance can be a complicated and hazardous job.  So what do we clear? Absolutely anything except hazardous waste, (Chemicals-Asbestos etc.) although we can arrange to have such materials cleared for you. We remove heavy machinery, filing cabinets, desks, computers, scrap metal and more, most of which can be taken to auction to be offset against the costs.

Enforcement Assist

As High Court Enforcement Officers and Certificated Bailiffs ourselves, we know how important it is to have the back up and support of a good team. We can offer you and your Enforcement Officers and Bailiffs that support whilst in the field. Our van teams, with both male and female operatives have all worked in a busy auction saleroom so have good a knowledge of values and trading standard requirements.
